ATLANTA FRINGE FESTIVAL

The Atlanta Fringe Festival is not a comedy show but we’ve decided to feature it this week because there is a ton of comedy in it. Executive Director Diana Brown says, “I was surprised by the amount of comedy we have this year,” she said. “There’s a lot of variety within what people are doing — what they’re telling and how they’re telling it. But on paper, it’s a lot of comedy.” The Fringe is always full of surprises and the unexpected. With a year full of comedy, this might be the time to check it out.

Finesse Mitchell has been seen almost everywhere. He’s currently on Hulu’s History of the World Part II, playing the Rev. Jesse Jackson opposite of Wanda Sykes. He’s guest-hosted for The Wendy Williams talk show on Fox.
